  • Dealer Information: Business name, email, phone number, address, and Stripe account details.
  • Customer Information: Name, phone number, email address, and mailing address as provided by the dealer.
  • Payment Information: Payment method details (last 4 digits only), payment history, and loan information. Full payment credentials are processed and stored by Stripe, not by PayMind.
  • Usage Data: Log data, device information, and analytics about how you interact with the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Process and manage loan payments on behalf of dealers.
  • Send payment reminders, past-due notifications, and account alerts via SMS, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Provide secure access to the customer payment portal via magic links.
  • Generate reports and analytics for dealers.
  • Improve and maintain the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS/Text Messaging

Customers provide explicit SMS consent through the PayMind customer portal during account registration. A clear consent checkbox is presented stating the types of messages, frequency, and opt-out instructions before any messages are sent. Full opt-in details are available at our SMS Consent page.

Types of transactional SMS messages sent:

  • Payment reminders before due dates.
  • Past-due and delinquency notifications.
  • Secure login links for the customer portal.
  • Payment confirmation messages.

Message frequency: 2-6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. No promotional or marketing messages are sent.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing (as a PCI-compliant payment processor).
  • Twilio: For SMS delivery.
  • Your Dealer: Dealers can access information about their own customers only.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

We maintain strict multi-tenant data isolation. Dealers can only access their own customer data and cannot view information belonging to other dealers.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure password hashing (bcrypt), JWT-based authentication, rate limiting, and input validation. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Loan and payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP.
